Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999

Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman Scheme Revocation of Exemption Declaration: Victorian Rail Track (trading as VicTrack).

 

I, Jennifer McNeill, delegate of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (“the ACMA”), acting under subsection 129(1) of the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 (“the Act”), and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, REVOKE the ACMA’s declaration, published in the Gazette on 19 November 2008, that Victorian Rail Track (trading as VicTrack), a Transport Corporation under the Transport Integration Act 2010 (Vic.), is exempt from the requirement under subsection 128(1) of the Act to enter into the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman scheme.
