THE AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY, makes the following Determination under subsection 410 (1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.

1. This Determination may be cited as Telecommunications (Approving Bodies) Determination No. 1 of 1997.

2. This Determination commences on Gazettal.
Determination of approving bodies
3. A person holding, or for the time being performing the duties of, the position of Executive Manager, Telecommunications Standards Group, Australian Communications Authority is an approving body for the purposes of subsection 410(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
