Issued by the Authority of the Judges of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory

AMENDMENT OF THE RULES OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY

These amendments introduce Order 61A to provide for the exercise of the jurisdiction of the Court by the Master. The Master has been given authority to exercise the jurisdiction of the Court following the amendment to Section 8 of the Supreme Court Act 1933 under the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance 1988.

The amendments also add to those areas in Order 61 where the jurisdiction of the court may be exercised by the Registrar.
