States Grants (Advanced Education) (No. 2)

An Act to amend the States Grants (Advanced Education) Acts 1967.
[Assented to 26 September 1969]
BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the States Grants (Advanced Education) Act (No. 2) 1969.
(2.) The States Grants (Advanced Education) Acts 1967 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the States Grants (Advanced Education) Act 1967–1969.
Commencement.
2.—(1.) Subject to this section, this Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
(2.) The amendment made by the next succeeding section shall be deemed to have taken effect on the first day of January, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-seven.
Schedules.
3. The Schedules to the Principal Act are repealed and the following Schedules inserted in their stead:—

Transitional.
4. For the purposes of the Principal Act as amended by this Act, a place of education formerly known by a name specified in the first column of the following table shall be deemed to be the same place of education as that known by the name specified in the second column of that table opposite that name in the first column:—
