Rules of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory2 (Amendment)

We, Judges appointed under sub-section 7 (1) of the Australian Capital Territory Supreme Court Act 1933, hereby make the following Rules of Court under section 28 of that Act.

Principal Rides

1. In these Rules, “Principal Rules” means the Rules of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory.

Additional fees and expenses

2. Rule 14 of Order 43 of the Principal Rules is amended by omitting from sub-rule (1) “One pound one shilling” and substituting “$2.10”.

Form of indorsement

3. Rule 16 of Order 43 of the Principal Rules is amended by omitting the symbol “£” and substituting the symbol “$”.

First Schedule—Forms 9, 51 and 59

4. The First Schedule to the Principal Rules is amended—

(a) by omitting from Form 9 “three miles” (wherever occurring) and substituting “5 kilometres”;


(b) by omitting from Form 51 the symbol “£” and substituting the symbol “$”; and

(c) by omitting from Form 59 the symbol “£” and substituting the symbol “$”.
