AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA AUTHORITY

Telecommunications Act 1997

Paragraph 83(2)(b)

REVOCATION OF NOMINATED CARRIER DECLARATION

I, Silvia Superina, delegate of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (‘the ACMA’) acting under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and being satisfied that:

 

a)      Sanctuary Cove Communications Services Pty Ltd (ABN 22 126 951 111) is the owner of the network units in relation to which Universal Communications Group Ltd (ABN 18 131 591 636) was granted a nominated carrier declaration under subsection 81(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 on 19 January 2010 (‘the Nominated Carrier Declaration’); and

b)      Universal Communications Group Ltd (ABN 18 131 591 636) has given the ACMA a written notice stating that it does not accept responsibility for the network units specified in the Nominated Carrier Declaration;

revoke the Nominated Carrier Declaration under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
