REVOCATION OF NOMINATED CARRIER DECLARATION – MEGALINK AUSTRALIA PTY LTD
Dominic Byrne, delegate of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (‘the ACMA’), acting under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and being satisfied that:
(a) Megalink Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 084 000 671) was granted a nominated carrier declaration under subsection 81(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 on 12 January 2007 in relation to network units owned by Precision Wireless Pty Ltd (the ‘Nominated Carrier Declaration’); and
(b) Megalink Australia Pty Ltd has given the ACMA a written notice stating that it does not accept responsibility for the units specified in the Nominated Carrier Declaration for the purposes of the Telecommunications Act 1997;
hereby revoke the Nominated Carrier Declaration under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
