REVOCATION OF NOMINATED CARRIER DECLARATION – Localstar Holdings Pty Limited
I, Dominic Byrne, delegate of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (‘the ACMA’), acting under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and being satisfied that:
(a) Localstar Holdings Pty Limited (ACN 102 274 322) was granted a nominated carrier declaration under subsection 81(1) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 on 30 June 2003 in relation to network units owned by Globalstar, Inc. (formerly Globalstar L.P.) (the ‘Nominated Carrier Declaration’); and
(b) Pivotel Group Pty Limited (ACN 102 274 322), formerly Localstar Holdings Pty Limited (ACN 102 274 322) has provided the ACMA with a written notice stating that it does not accept responsibility for the network units for the purposes of the Telecommunications Act 1997;
hereby revoke the Nominated Carrier Declaration under paragraph 83(2)(b) of the Telecommunications Act 1997.
