Reserve Bank (Monetary Policy Board Member) Appointment (No. 1) 2026

I, Jim Chalmers, Treasurer, under subsection 25AB(1) of the Reserve Bank Act 1959, appoint Bruce Preston as an external Monetary Policy Board member, on a part‑time basis, for the period of beginning on 1 March 2026 until 28 February 2031.
