EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

1982 No. 207

The Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (Amendment) (the amending Regulations) amends the Remuneration Tribunals (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations (the Principal Regulations) to substitute the office of Speaker of the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly for the office of President of the Australian Capital Territory House of Assembly.

The amending Regulations amend regulation 7 (1)(a) of the Principal Regulations by omitting “President” and substituting “Speaker”.
