Determination 2011/03:

Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

 

As amended.

 

Made under sub-section 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973

 

Consolidated as at 22 April 2011 and incorporates amending determinations up to and including 2011/04 – Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

 

(i) Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to members of parliament and holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.

 

(ii) This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.

 

PART 1 – FULL-TIME OFFICES

 

1.1 In this part, Determination Number 10 of 2010 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

 

1.2 Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry after the entry for “Registrar of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations”:

2.2.15

Tier 2

 

1.3 Clause 1.2 has effect on and from 15 April 2011. 

 

1.4 Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting Clause 2.2.15 after Clause 2.2.14 as follows: “Aboriginal Hostels Limited (AHL), General Manager: Mr Roger Barson will receive $197,179 base salary and $254,545 Total Remuneration while he occupies the office shown in Column 1:”

 

1.5 Table 2A of Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting “$7,112” in Column 4 and inserting “2.2.16” in Column 5 of the entry forDeputy Commonwealth Ombudsman.

 

1.6 Part 2 of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting Clause 2.2.16 after Clause 2.2.15 as follows: “Deputy Commonwealth Ombudsman: Ms Alison Larkins will receive a personal loading as shown in Column 4 of Table 2A from 10 March 2011 until 16 April 2011, and then with effect from 17 April 2011, base salary (salary for superannuation purposes) of $203,342 and Total Remuneration of $258,722.

 

PART 2PART-TIME OFFICES

 

2.1 In this part, Determination Number 11 of 2010 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

 

2.2 Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry after the entry for “Specialist Medical Review Council (SMRC) – Convenor/councillor”:
