REGULATIONS UNDER THE RAW COTTON BOUNTY ACT 1963-1966.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Raw Cotton Bounty Act 1963-1966.

Amendments of the Raw Cotton Bounty Regulations†
Application for bounty.
1. Regulation 5 of the Raw Cotton Bounty Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—
“(a) relate only to raw cotton sold—
(i) during a period of three months that commenced on the first day of March, June, September or December; or
(ii) during a period of twelve months that commenced on the first day of March;”.

Raw cotton in respect or which bounty is payable.
2.—(1.) Regulation 7 of the Raw Cotton Bounty Regulations is amended by omitting the table and inserting in its stead the following table:—

(2.) The amendment of regulation 7 of the Raw Cotton Bounty Regulations effected by the last preceding sub-regulation has effect in relation to raw cotton sold by the processor for use in Australia on or after the first day of March, 1967.
(3.) An application by a processor for bounty, being a processor who lodges applications in respect of periods of three months, in respect of raw cotton of a grade specified in the next succeeding sub-regulation that was sold by the processor for use in Australia before the commencement of these Regulations may, notwithstanding paragraph (d) of sub-regulation (1.) of regulation 5 of the Raw Cotton Bounty Regulations, be lodged with the Collector within three months after the commencement of these Regulations.
(4.) The following grades of raw cotton are specified for the purposes of the last preceding sub-regulation:—
