REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1973.*
THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1973, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations
Third Schedule—Part I.
1. Part I of the Third Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
Third Schedule—Part III.
2. Part III of the Third Schedule to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended as set out in Schedule 2.
Fourth Schedule.

1. Item 1 is amended by omitting the figure “ 238 ” (in the third column), and substituting the figure “ 260 ”.
2. Item 8 is amended by omitting the figure “ 119 ” (in the third column), and substituting the figure “ 130 ”.
3. Item 13 is amended by omitting the figure “ 238 ” (in the third column), and substituting the figure “ 260 ”.
4. Omit Item 37.
5. Item 42 is amended by omitting the figure “ 119 ” (in the third column), and substituting the figure “ 130 ”.
6. Omit Item 45, substitute the following item:—

| (a) he has passed a test conducted by or on behalf of the Board in typing at the rate of 50 words per minute and in typing letters and documents with due regard to punctuation and form; or | |
| (b) he is employed full time on the operation of a Varityper or I.B.M. Composer and has passed a test conducted by or on behalf of the Board for the purpose of this sub-paragraph. | |
| 2. He shall be paid an allowance at the rate specified in the second column of the table in this paragraph in relation to the highest speed in words per minute specified in the first column of that table at which he has passed a test conducted by or on behalf of the Board in writing shorthand and in correctly transcribing that shorthand. | |
