REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations

Schedule 3 — Part I.

1. Schedule 3 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting Group 17 from Part I and substituting the following group:—

Schedule 4.

3. Schedule 4 to the Public Service (Salaries) Regulations is amended by inserting after item 3 the following item:—

3a    Assistant (Mint), Grade 1 .....

  Assistant (Mint), Grade 2

An officer shall, for each day or portion of a day while the officer is engaged in driving a fork lift, be paid an allowance equal to the difference between the salary of the officer and the salary that would be payable to the officer from time to time if the scale of rates of the salary payable to the officer were $7,245–7,345–7,445.”.
