REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*
THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations†
Salaries payable to officers of the Third Division.
1. Regulation 105 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (9.) and inserting in its stead the table set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
Salaries payable to officers of the Fourth Division.
2. Regulation 106 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (7aa.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—
“ (7aa.) An officer who has not attained the age of twenty-one years and occupies an office of Apprentice Telecommunications Tradesman or Apprentice Electrical Tradesman shall be paid salary at a rate ascertained by reference to the period of service of the officer in that office in accordance with the table in this sub-regulation if the rate so ascertained would result in the payment of salary at a higher rate than that otherwise applicable to him under Part 1. or Part III. of the First Schedule to these Regulations.

3.—(1.) Part I. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.
(2.) Part III. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations.

4. The Second Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended by inserting in column 2 of Item 1aaa, after the words—
“ Apprentice Telecommunications Tradesman ”,
the words—
“ Apprentice Electrical Tradesman ”.
