REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*
THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby approve the following Regulations.

Amendments of the Public Service Regulations†
Camping and lodging allowance.
1. Regulation 89 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (2.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-regulation:—
“ (2.) The allowance is payable—
(a) if a cook is provided by the Department—
(i) in the case of a married officer—at the rate of $2.70 per day; or
(ii) in the case of an unmarried officer—at the rate of $1.50 per day; and
(b) if a cook is not provided by the Department—
(i) in the case of a married officer—at the rate of $3.30 per day; or
(ii) in the case of an unmarried officer—at the rate of $2.10 per day.”.

Salaries payable to officers of the Third Division.
2. Regulation 105 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by inserting in sub-regulation (8.), after the words—
“ Library Officer-in-training ”,
the words—
“ Radiographer-in-training ”.
Salaries payable to officers of the Fourth Division.
3.—(1.) Regulation 106 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by omitting sub-paragraph (v) of paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (11.).
(2.) Regulation 106 of the Public Service Regulations is amended by inserting in sub-regulation (12.), after the words—
“ Postmaster, Grade 5 ”,
the words—
“ Radiographer-in-training ”.
First Schedule.
4. Part I. of the First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
Fourth Schedule.
5. Part I. of the Fourth Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended is set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.
