STATUTORY RULES

1969 No. 122

REGULATIONS UNDER THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 1922-1968.*

THE PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD, acting in pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred upon it by the Public Service Act 1922-1968, hereby makes, subject to the approval of the Governor-General, the following Regulations.

1. The First Schedule to the Public Service Regulations is amended as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.

SECOND SCHEDULE Regulation 2.

Amendment of the Second Schedule to the Public Service Regulations

After Item 34, insert the following item:—

34a Mechanic (Maritime Aids)......

1. He shall be paid an allowance at the rate per annum ascertained in accordance with the following table if—

 

(a) he has passed the test determined by the Board for the purpose; and

 

(b) his rate of annual salary is less than $3,120.
