PUBLIC SERVICE (PARLIAMENTARY OFFICERS) REGULATIONS

Statutory Rules 1969, No. 75(a)

Second Schedule Part I.

1. Part I. of the Second Schedule to the Public Service (Parliamentary Officers) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting item 27 and inserting in its stead the following item:—

“27

(b) by omitting item 33 and inserting in its stead the following item:—

“33

Senior Boiler Attendant...............

2,571–2,658–2,745”;

and

(c) by omitting item 40 and inserting in its stead the following item:—

“40

Gardener.....................

2,143–2,203–2,263–2,323”.

Application.

2. The Parliamentary Head may authorize the payment of an allowance in respect of the period that commenced on the fifth day of December, 1968, and ended on the day immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, to an officer who occupied the office of—

(a) Foreman Gardener; or

(b) Gardener,

during the whole or a part of that period of such an amount as would result in the total remuneration of the officer for the whole or the part of that period being not less than the total remuneration that would have been payable to the officer if the amendments made by these Regulations had taken effect on the fifth day of December, 1968.
