Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

PUBLIC COMMENT INVITED

 

The Department of the Environment and Energy is inviting comment on the following recovery plans proposed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999:

 

The draft revised plan proposed for adoption under the EPBC Act:

 

  • Macadamia Species Recovery Plan 2019 – 2024 (Macadamia integrifolia, Macadamia tetraphylla, Macadamia ternifolia and Macadamia jansenii)

 

and the following draft revised recovery plan proposed to be made under the EPBC Act:

 

  • National Recovery Plan for the Swift Parrot (Lathamus discolor)

 

These draft recovery plans set out the research and management actions necessary to stop the decline, and support the recovery of these threatened species.

The Australian Government has made the draft recovery plans available at: http://www.environment.gov.au/biodiversity/threatened/recovery-plans/comment
