PROPOSAL TO PREPARE A DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN
NORFOLK ISLAND NATIONAL PARK
AND NORFOLK ISLAND BOTANIC GARDEN
The 2018-28 Norfolk Island National Park and Norfolk Island Botanic Garden management plan requires amendment to resolve technical issues in line with a review by the Senate Standing Committee on Regulations and Ordinances.
The Director of National Parks is proposing to prepare an amended draft of the management plan for the National Park and the Botanic Garden. When finalised, this plan will guide management of the reserves for a period of ten years.
Members of the public are invited to comment on the proposal. Your comments will be considered when preparing the draft management plan for the park and botanic garden. When prepared, the draft plan will then be released for public comment for a period of no less than 30 days.
