Subregulation 12.23(3)

PROHIBITION ON ENTERING OR REMAINING ON PHILLIP ISLAND, NORFOLK ISLAND NATIONAL PARK

 

I, Karl Dyason, Assistant Secretary, Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Island Parks Branch, Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, acting under delegation from the Director of National Parks, pursuant to subregulation 12.23(3) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Regulations 2000, having taken into account and being satisfied that access to that part of Norfolk Island National Park that is all areas that comprise Phillip Island, might endanger public safety, HEREBY PROHIBIT all persons entering or remaining on Phillip Island at all times, commencing 11:59pm 31st May 2020 and ending 11:59pm 5th June 2020.
