The continued use of The Great Seal of Australia authorised for use by
Royal Warrant of 19 October 1973
I, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under section 61 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia, authorise the continued use of The Great Seal of Australia, which was first authorised for use by Royal Warrant of 19 October 1973, pending the granting of a new Seal by King Charles The Third.
