Primary Industries Research and Development (Gross Value of Production of State and Territory Fisheries for 2024-25) Determination 2025

I, Sarah-Jane McCormack, delegate of the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, make this Determination under subsection 30A(4) of the Primary Industries Research and Development Act 1989 (the PIRD Act) as it continues to apply under subitem 4(2) of Schedule 4 to the Primary Industries (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Act 2024 in relation to the financial year beginning on 1 July 2024.

For the purposes of the definition of final State or Territory GVP in subsection 30A(4) of the PIRD Act, the amount specified in column 2 for an item in the following table is the amount of the gross value of production of the goods that are the produce of that part of the fishing industry that is managed by or on behalf of the State or Territory mentioned in column 1 for that item for the financial year beginning on 1 July 2024.
