REGULATIONS UNDER THE PRICES JUSTIFICATION ACT 1973-1974.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Prices Justification Act 1973-1974.

Amendments of the Prices Justification Regulations †

Living away from home allowance of full-time member resident in Canberra.

1. Regulation 5a of the Prices Justification Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph 2 (a) the words “ One hundred and seventy-two dollars fifty cents ” and substituting the words “ One hundred and ninety dollars ”.

Giving of a notice to the Tribunal.

2. Regulation 6 of the Prices Justification Regulations is amended by omitting the words “ 4 Treasury Place, East Melbourne, ” and substituting the words “ 10 Queens Road, Melbourne,”.

Commencement.

3. The amendment effected by regulation 1 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 21 July 1974.
