REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901–1916.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the undermentioned amended Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901–1916, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Post and Telegraph Regulations, 1913.
(Statutory Rules, 1913, No. 348, as amended by Statutory Rules 1916, No. 158.)
The heading preceding Regulation 198 and Regulation 198 are repealed and the following heading and Regulation are inserted in their stead: —
MAIL NOTICE.
198. (1) One copy of the Mail Notice published twice weekly may be supplied to private box-holders, and to persons calling for same at the General Post Office on payment in advance of Five shillings per annum, or delivered by letter-carriers, on their first round, on payment in advance of Ten shillings per annum.
(2) New subscribers shall pay in advance the fee for one year calculated from the first day of the month in which they become subscribers. At the expiration of the first year’s service, the renewal fee to be paid shall be calculated for the period from the first day of the month after the close of the first year’s service to the last day of December following. Thereafter the renewal fee shall fall due on the first day of January in each year.
