Pig Industry (Gross Value of Pig Meat Production 2024-25) Determination 2025
I, Joanna Stanion, delegate of the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, make this Determination under subsection 10(8) of the Pig Industry Act 2001 (Pig Industry Act) as it continues to apply under subitem 4(2) of Schedule 4 to the Primary Industries (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Act 2024 in relation to the financial year beginning on 1 July 2024.
For the purposes of subsection 10(8) of the Pig Industry Act, the amount of the gross value of pig meat production in Australia in the financial year starting on 1 July 2024 and ending on 30 June 2025 is determined to be $1,826,782,000.
