Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1975
ORDER UNDER SUBSECTION 68(1)
WHEREAS-
(A) Golden Age Box Hill Development Pty Ltd as trustee for Golden Age Box Hill Development Unit Trust (Golden Age) is a foreign person for the purposes of the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act 1975 (‘the Act’);
(B) Golden Age gave notice under the Act on 26 November 2015 that it proposes to acquire vacant land located 545-563 Station Street, Box Hill, Victoria.
I, Trevor Thomas, as a delegate of the Treasurer under subsection 68(1) of the Act, and for the purpose of considering whether to make an order under section 67 of the Act, PROHIBIT the proposed acquisition by Golden Age. This order has effect for 90 days which starts on the day it is published in the Gazette.
