ORDER OF AUSTRALIA

Appointed an honorary Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division

NAME : Kevin MacNair Lamb

ADDRESS : Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA

CITATION : For distinguished service to the Australian Government as the Honorary Consul for Vancouver, Canada.

Mr Lamb has served Australia with distinction for over 20 years as Honorary Consul for Australia, and Post Manager at the Australian Consulate and Trade Commission in Vancouver.

In that time Mr Lamb has made a significant contribution to Australia’s interests in Canada.  He has had substantial involvement in the development of Australia’s commercial relationship with Canada, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Canada, Australia and New Zealand Business Association in Vancouver, further strengthening the relationship between the two countries.

Mr Lamb is a tireless and effective advocate for Australia’s interests. 

He has also made a significant personal contribution through his exemplary consular work. His caring approach and willingness to assist Australians has been much appreciated by his clients. He has generously and selflessly gone beyond his responsibilities to support and assist Australians in distress.

Australia honours Mr Lamb for his longstanding commitment and service to advancing Australia-Canada relations over more than 20 years.
