NOTICE OF REVOCATION AND APPROVAL
Notice No. 2 of 1999
I, PETER KEASTON REITH, Minister for Employment, Workplace Relations and Small Business, under subsection 70(1) of the Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employment) Act 1991 (in this notice referred to as “the Act”):
i) revoke the Approved Code of Practice on the Control and Safe Use of Inorganic Lead at Work, Notice No. 1 of 1995, published in Commonwealth of Australia Gazette No. 49, of 13 December 1995; and
ii) approve the Code of Practice on the Control and Safe Use of Inorganic Lead in Commonwealth Employment, as a code of practice which is to apply generally for the purposes of the Act
on and from the date of publication of this Notice in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette.
