Notification for Public Consultation under EPBC Act for the Fort Wallace Heritage Management Plan

The former Fort Wallace Defence site located in Stockton, NSW is a complex heritage site rich with natural and cultural values.

The site has been recognised as a place with natural and cultural value and has been included in the Commonwealth Heritage List (CHL) 2004.

Defence Housing Australia (DHA) has prepared a draft replacement Heritage Management Plan for Fort Wallace. Under paragraph 341S(6)(b) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, Defence Housing Australia (DHA) welcomes comments on the draft replacement Heritage Management Plan from members of the public, Indigenous People with rights and interests to the place, key stakeholders and community groups by close of business, 9 November 2021.
