ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS (NORTHERN TERRITORY) ACT 1976

NOTICE TO VARY BOUNDARIES OF LAND TO BE HELD BY THE KAKADU ABORIGINAL LAND TRUST

 

I, Ken Wyatt AM, Minister for Indigenous Australians, under paragraph 4(2B)(aa) of the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 (the Act), because of a proposed grant of an estate in fee simple, in the land described under the heading “JABIRU” in Part 4 of Schedule 1, to the Kakadu Aboriginal Land Trust in accordance with this Act, vary the boundaries of the land held by the Kakadu Aboriginal Land Trust to include the following land, in addition to the land that is already within the boundaries of the land held or to be held by the Kakadu Aboriginal Land Trust.

Kakadu Aboriginal Land Trust

All that land in the Northern Territory comprising the whole of Jabiru town land as specified by legislative instrument under subsection 3AC(2) of the Act.

This variation takes effect on the day of publication of this notice.
