Notice under Subsection 234AA(3)

 

 

Revocation and Specification of Areas to which 234AA applies

 

I, John Gibbon, delegate of the Comptroller-General of Customs, under subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 and subsection 234AA(3) of the Customs Act 1901 (the Act):

 

 

(a)   REVOKE the notice specifying areas at Darwin International Airport as areas to which section 234AA of the Act applies, which appeared in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette No. C2016G01213 on 12 September 2016; and

 

(b)  SPECIFY the hatched areas indicated in Attachments A and B to this notice at Darwin International Airport, appointed under section 15 of the Act, as areas to which section 234AA of the Act applies.
