On 15 January 2013, as a delegate of the Australian Electoral Commission for the purposes of Part XI of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918,  I approved an application from the following political party for registration and entered the party in the Register of Political Parties:

Party abbreviation: Pirate Party

Registered officer: Glen Takkenberg

Address: 26 Emerton Street

 Evatt   ACT  2617

The party indicated that it wishes to receive election funding.

Notice of change to the Register of Political Parties

On 17 January 2013, as a delegate of the Australian Electoral Commission for the purposes of Part XI of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918,  I approved applications from two registered political parties to replace their registered officers in the Register of Political Parties with the following appointees:
