Aviation Transport Security Act 2004
NOTICE OF DECLARATION OF SECURITY CONTROLLED AIRPORT AND AIRSIDE AREA –
LAUNCESTON AIRPORT
I, JACQUELINE IRELAND, Director, Transport Security Operations, Office of Transport Security:
REVOKE, under subsection 28(2) of the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 (the Act),
Notice NTC-13646 which declared Launceston Airport as a security controlled airport as published in the Gazette (No. C2017G00931, 29 August 2017);
DECLARE, under subsection 28(2) of the Act, that Launceston Airport is a security
controlled airport, the boundaries of Launceston Airport are shown on the attached map
which forms part of this notice; and
ESTABLISH, in accordance with section 29 of the Act, an airside area for Launceston
Airport being that area indicated as the airside area on the attached map.
(a) ‘Attachment 3:Map 1, titled ‘Security Controlled Airport Boundary & Airside’;
(b) ‘Attachment 3:Map 2, titled ‘RPT Apron’;
(c) ‘Attachment 3:Map 3, titled ‘Security Controlled Airport Boundary & Airside’;
(d) ‘Attachment 3:Map 4, titled ‘Security Controlled Airport Boundary & Airside’;
(e) ‘Attachment 3:Map 5, titled ‘Security Controlled Airport Boundary & Airside’;
(f) ‘Attachment 3:Map 6, titled ‘Airside Area – Terminal Ground Level’.
This Notice commences upon publication in the Gazette.
