Draft Revised Threat Abatement Plan for Predation, Habitat Degradation,
Competition and Disease Transmission by Feral Pigs (Sus scrofa)
The Department of the Environment is seeking written comment from interested groups and individuals on the draft revised Threat Abatement Plan for Predation, Habitat Degradation, Competition and Disease Transmission by Feral Pigs (Sus scrofa).
The draft plan addresses the key threatening process ‘Predation, Habitat Degradation, Competition and Disease Transmission by Feral Pigs’ listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. It describes the research, management and other actions to reduce the impacts of feral pigs on native species.
The draft revised threat abatement plan and instructions to complete a submission are available at:

The three-month public comment period will close on 24 July 2015.
