Antarctic Treaty (Environment Protection) (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations

 

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY IN AUSTRALIA OF A DRAFT INITIAL ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION

 

I, Jason John Mundy, Delegate of the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities in accordance with regulation 10 of the Antarctic Treaty (Environment Protection) (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations, give notice that I have received a draft Initial Environmental Evaluation of the proposed activity; Quarry Operations at Casey Station in the Australian Antarctic Territory.

 

A copy of the evaluation may be obtained from the Environment Officer, Australian Antarctic Division, 203 Channel Highway, Kingston, Tasmania 7050, or by phoning (03) 6232 3402. It is also available on our website at www.aad.gov.au or via email eia@aad.gov.au

 

Interested persons may submit their comments on the evaluation to the Director of the Australian Antarctic Division, 203 Channel Highway, Kingston, Tasmania 7050 by close of business on
18th January 2013.
