NORTHERN TERRITORY ELECTORAL REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT)

 

EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

STATUTORY RULES 1983 NO. 178

Issued by the Authority of the Special Minister of State

 

The Northern Territory Electoral Regulations make provision for Commonwealth electoral administration in the Northern Territory.

Regulation 17 prescribed the sale price of electoral rolls, as follows -

 

 

 

 

 

Principal Roll for the Territory

$8.30

 

 

Principal Roll for a District

$0.80

 

 

Supplemental Roll for the Territory

$0.80

 

 

Supplemental Roll for a District

$0.30

 

The sale price of electoral rolls was last reviewed in 1981 and the purpose of the amending regulation is to prescribe a new sale price, as follows -
