NOMINATED CARRIER DECLARATION 197 GRANTED – AMAZON KUIPER AUSTRALIA PTY LTD
I, Naomi Turton, delegate of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), being satisfied that:
(a) if this declaration were made, Amazon Kuiper Australia Pty Ltd ACN 652 115 421 (the applicant) would be in a position to comply with all of the obligations imposed on the applicant in the applicant’s capacity as the nominated carrier in relation to the network unit described below; and
(b) the making of this declaration will not impede the efficient administration of:
(i) the Telecommunications Act 1997;
(ii) the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 and regulations under that Act;
declare that Amazon Kuiper Australia Pty Ltd ACN 652 115 421, holder of carrier licence number 617, is the nominated carrier in relation to the satellite-based facilities owned by Amazon Kuiper Infrastructure LLC (Delaware USA EIN 87-4126791), located on non-geostationary satellite orbit fixed-satellite service satellites in low Earth orbit, and registered with the International Telecommunication Union under the names USASAT-NGSO-8A, USASAT-NGSO-8B and USASAT-NGSO-8C.
