1  Name

  This instrument is the Net Zero Economy Authority (Muja D Power Station Trigger Notice) Instrument 2026.

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under made under subsection 9(2) of the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.

4  Definitions

Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 5 of the Act, including the following:

(a) trigger notice;

  In this instrument:

Act means the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.

facility has the same meaning given by cl 2.29.1B of the Electricity System and Market Rules.

Electricity System and Market Rules has the same meaning as in the Electricity Industry Act 2004 (WA).

5  Trigger notice specification

  1.      For the purposes of subsection 9(2) of the Act, the following is a trigger notice:
    1.        The Government of Western Australia publication entitled ‘Collie Community Fact Sheet’, which advises that the following facilities will close in October 2029:
      1.       MUJA_G7; and
      2.       MUJA_G8.
