1  Name

This instrument is the Net Zero Economy Authority (Eraring Power Station Trigger Notice) Instrument 2026.

2  Commencement

 This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 9(2) of the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.

4  Definitions

Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 5 of the Act, including the following:

(a) National Electricity Rules; and

(b) trigger notice.

In this instrument:

Act means the Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024.

Dispatchable Unit Identifier has the same meaning as in the National Electricity Rules.

5  Trigger notice specification

  1.   For the purposes of subsection 9(2) of the Act, the following is a trigger notice:
  1.           the notice given to the Australian Energy Market Operator under the National Electricity Rules 2.10.1(c1)(2) advising an amended closure date of 30 April 2029 in relation to the following Dispatchable Unit Identifiers:
  1.                   ER01
  2.                ER02
  3.              ER03
  4.               ER04
