REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 19121920.

I, THE GOVERNORGENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Navigation Act 19121920, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of Navigation (Survey and Equipment) Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1923 No. 131 as amended by Statutory Rules 1923 No. 196.)

1. Schedule II. to the Navigation (Survey and Equipment) Regulations is amended by omitting the footnotes to subparagraphs (a) and (b) respectively of paragraph 1 thereof, and inserting in the stead of each a footnote as follows:—

“Note.—When the survey of an unclassed vessel for a Certificate of Approval of LoadLine is made at the same time as a survey for Certificate of Survey, onehalf only of the full fee for the loadline survey is to be charged in addition to the fee for the Certificate of Survey. (Vide Navigation (LoadLines) Regulations, regn. 19.)”
