1936. No. 47.

 

REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVIGATION ACT 1912-1935.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Navigation Act 1912-1935.

Amendments of the Navigation (Collision, Boat and Fire Drills) Regulations.†

Restrictions in regard to bulkhead doors.

1. Regulation 17 of the Navigation (Collision, Boat and Fire Drills) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in paragraph (a), after the word “door” the words “situated below the freeboard deck”; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) the word “main” and inserting in its stead the word “freeboard”.

Repeal of Reg. 40.

2. Regulation 40 of the Navigation (Collision, Boat and Fire Drills) Regulations is repealed.
