REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1973.

Amendments of the Naval Forces (Papua New Guinea Division) Regulations†

1. After regulation 14 of the Naval Forces (Papua New Guinea Division) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

Command Allowance.

14a. An allowance, called ‘ command allowance ’, is payable at the rate of $1.26 a day to an officer who—

(a) holds the rank of Commander; and

(b) holds the post of Commanding Officer, Papua New Guinea Defence Force Patrol Boat Base, Lombrum.”.
