REGULATIONS UNDER THE NAVAL DEFENCE ACT 1910-1966.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Naval Defence Act 1910-1966.

Amendments of the Naval College Regulations†
Rates of pay.
1.—(1.) Regulation 37 of the Naval College Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following table:—

(2.) Salary is payable to an officer of the Professorial Staff, in respect of service on or after the sixth day of July, 1967, in accordance with the rates prescribed by the Naval College Regulations as amended by the last preceding sub-regulation.
Transitional.
2. A person who was an officer of the Professorial Staff during the period from and including the nineteenth day of October, 1966, to and including the fifth day of July, 1967, or during a part of that period, is, by virtue of this regulation, entitled to be paid additional salary in respect of that period or that part of that period of an amount equal to the amount by which the salary paid or payable to the person in respect of that period or that part of that period under

regulation 37 of the Naval College Regulations is less than the amount of salary that would have been payable to the person if the person had been entitled to be paid salary at an annual rate fixed in accordance with the following table:—
