National Residue Survey Regulations (Repeals) Regulations 1998
Section 30 of the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991, Section 14 of the Horticultural Levy Act 1987, Section 14 of the Horticultural Export Charge Act 1987 and Section 13 of the National Residue Survey Administration Act 1992 provide that the Governor-General may make regulations not inconsistent with these Acts, prescribing matters required or permitted to be prescribed; or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to these Acts.
These regulations repeal the regulations currently applying to National Residue Survey levies under these Acts. The current regulations are being replaced by the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (NRS Levies) Regulations 1998 to indicate the stand alone nature of National Residue Survey levies.
