EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

STATUTORY RULES 1986 NO. 296

NATIONAL GALLERY REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT)

(Issued under the authority of the Minister for Arts, Heritage and Environment)

The purpose of the National Gallery Regulations (Amendment) is to amend existing Regulation 2 by omitting the definition of “exhibition areas” and substituting a new definition of “exhibition areas” which brings up to date the description of those parts of the Gallery building to be known as Galleries.

Regulation 2.

Provides the definition of “exhibition areas” of the Gallery building known as Galleries.
