National Capital Plan Draft Amendment 89
The National Capital Authority (NCA) has released National Capital Plan Draft Amendment 89 – Deakin/Forrest Residential Precinct (DA89) for public consultation. The draft amendment can be viewed on the NCA’s Public Consultation webpage.
The purpose of DA89 is to clarify the intended outcomes for the Deakin/Forrest Residential Precinct. DA89 proposes that for all sites, other than sites fronting State Circle, a single dwelling only per residential block is permitted. Complementary landscaping requirements are also proposed.
The NCA welcomes submissions on DA89 by close of business on 16 April 2018. Submissions can be made via email to draft.amendment@nca.gov.au, or by post to Chief Planner and Deputy Chief Executive, GPO Box 373, Canberra ACT 2601.
A public information session for DA89 will be held on 13 March 2018 between 5-6pm at the National Capital Authority, Treasury Building, King Edward Terrace, Parkes ACT 2601.
