(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

REVOCATION OF APPOINTMENTS OF MINISTERS OF STATE
___________________
I, Sam Mostyn, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, revoke, under section 64 of the Constitution, the appointments of the following persons:
(a) Katherine Ruth Gallagher to administer the Department of Social Services;
(b) Mark Christopher Butler to administer the Department of Social Services; and
(c) Jennifer Ryll McAllister to administer the Department of Social Services.
The revocation of these appointments is to take effect on 1 July 2025.
The revocation of these appointments does not affect the appointments under section 64 of the Constitution or directions under section 65 of the Constitution of the following persons:
(a) Katherine Ruth Gallagher:
(i) to administer the Department of Finance or the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet; or
(ii) to hold the offices of Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, and Minister for Government Services;
(b) Mark Christopher Butler:
(i) to administer the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing; or
(ii) to hold the offices of Minister for Health and Ageing and Minister for Disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme;
(c) Jennifer Ryll McAllister:
(i) to administer the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing; or
(ii) to hold the office of Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
