No. 2, 1996

 

An Act to amend the Ministers of State Act 1952

The Parliament of Australia enacts:

[Assented to 30 May 1996]

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Ministers of State Amendment Act 1996.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

3 Schedule(s)

Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule

concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.

 

Schedule 1— Amendment of the Ministers of State Act 1952

1 Paragraphs 5(a) and (b)

Repeal the paragraphs, substitute:

(a) in the financial year that commenced on 1 July 1995— $1,640,000; or

(b) in a subsequent financial year—$1,600,000.
