REGULATIONS UNDER THE METEOROLOGY ACT 1906.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Meteorology Act 1906, to come into operation forthwith.

Meteorological Regulations.
Short title.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Meteorological Regulations.

(2) Subscriptions shall in every case be payable in advance.
(3) Other similar bulletins and pamphlets issued by the Meteorological Bureau, the price of which is not specifically indicated in the foregoing list, may be sold at the price of Sixpence per copy, and other similar maps at One shilling per copy.
Distribution of publications to institutions.
3. (1) Any of the above publications may be distributed free or at cost price to public institutions, Government Departments, corporations and persons approved by the Minister or any officer specially deputed by him on the following conditions:—
(a) That they are posted up for the information of the public;
or
(b)That they are used for educational purposes; or
(c) That they are in return for reciprocal services to the Meteorological Bureau; or
(d) That they are required for advertising the resources of the Commonwealth.
(2) Any of the above publications may also be distributed free to Official Meteorological institutions and other kindred institutions in any part of the world.
Witness fees.
4. (1) A charge shall be made for the services of Officers of the Meteorological Branch, Home and Territories Department, who are subpoenaed to attend as witnesses to give evidence in regard to rainfall or other meteorological element in Courts of Law, the minimum charge to be £1 1s. for a mere statement of facts and £2 2s. for. expert evidence.
Certified statement of meteorological conditions.
(2) A minimum charge of £1 1s. shall be made for each certified statement of meteorological conditions to be used as evidence in a Court of Law or elsewhere and issued by the Commonwealth Meteorologist, Melbourne, or the Divisional Meteorologist, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, and Hobart.
Repeal.
5. The Meteorological Regulations (being Statutory Rules No. 1915/108, as amended by Nos. 1917/193, 1917/218, 1920/176, 1920/177, 1922/82, and 1925/118) are repealed as from the commencement of these Regulations, save as to anything lawfully done or any right, privilege, obligation, or liability acquired, accrued, or incurred thereunder.
